Boeblingen Residual Waste Thermal Power Station
For my environment science lab, we went on a "field trip" to the nearby Boeblingen Residual Waste Thermal Power Station. Basically, all the waste that isn't recycled or composted is incinerated to create an environmentally friendly form of energy and heat. The best part (and the least smelly part) was watching the big claw pick up stuff and drop it down the big shaft to the furnace.
