After almost sixty days since receiving our shipment of household goods, which included our bicycles, our whole family finally made it on a family bike ride. I wish I could have said that it was without complaint and everyone had a great time but it wasn't meant to be. There were grumbles about seat height, hills, bugs in one's face and fatigue. However, I am happy to report that some of those who thought they weren't going to have fun had changed their minds by the end and that overall, enjoyment and family bonding was had by all. Which in the grand scheme of things counts for more than the smaller hiccups along the way.
