The girls had their first day of school on the 26th of August. They all got a new outfit, even Jessi. Since we were within walking distance of the school last year, this is Kaitlyn's first experience riding a big bus and waiting at a bus stop. Bethany was appropriately above it all being at the top of the school in fifth grade. Here in New Hampshire, all the kindergartners in the district go to the same school, so first grade is the lowest grade in the big elementary school. I consider myself having bookends this year with a first and fifth grader. Malia takes a special bus that comes right to the house a couple minutes after her sisters leave. She is in fourth grade this year and is happy to be back in New Hampshire.

Happy First Day of School! I loved riding the bus as a kid, but David was confused when he started school and he found out we don't have school buses. We live too close. Glad Kaitlyn has a bus buddy.
It was only that simple....great to document it all. I never remember to take photos the first day. When they started Kindergarten yes but after that ...not so much.
