Skiing in Garmisch Day 3

On Day 3, we decided to wait for our lessons in the lodge instead of freezing our tails outside.  We arrived at the lodge early in order to get a good parking spot.  However, our lessons didn't start for about an hour after we would get there.  The day before we stood out in the cold and my fingers got really cold despite having really good gloves.
Arnie and Brad's son, Aidan both had GoPro cameras that they mounted on their helmets.  They took movies of themselves going down the major hills while the rest of us were in lessons.
During my lessons, my group got good enough to leave the bunny hills and tackle the next level up, a "blue run."  It was a little bit nerve racking but our teacher took us around a back way that wasn't so very steep.  I was able to take Jessica down it as well after lunch.  Jessica progressed up the levels of classes quickly because she wasn't afraid of tackling bigger challenges in the afternoon with me.
That evening we stayed at the lodge for their "Family Taco Night."  The girls were disappointed that is was Wednesday and not Taco Tuesday but everyone had fun anyway.  After everyone ate, the kids went out back for some sledding.  Even Arnie and Brad came down the hill once.  I just took pictures and stayed out of the way.  I think Bethany had the most fun.  I've never seen such a huge grin on her face before :)
