Malia competed in her first Special Olympics. She did the standing long job, the soft ball toss and the hundred yard dash. She won her heat in the hundred yard dash while as she put it "being distracted by her hat!" We are really proud of her and really enjoyed being able to enjoy the pure sportsmanship that occurs at the Special Olympics!

Malia, like her Mom and Gramma really look good in a hat. So we can understand the importance of hanging onto her hat.
